After several years of not blogging and using a range of other tools I have been lured back by http://www.feedly.com/ ..

Screen capture of Feedly digest page

Feedly is a firefox extension which weaves twitter and Google Reader into a magazine like experience.  Paired with delicious to bookmark the content I like – it has revolutionised my information management for web resources.  It is really easy to select what you want to include in your Feedly and then to scan through to select particular articles to read further.  Once you find something you like it is straight forward to share it through Delicious, Twitter, email, facebook etc. by clicking a button.

I also found http://www.fivefilters.org/pdf-newspaper/ which makes it easy to combine blog posts into a newsletter.

My aim is to use the two applications to collate, comment and share information online with colleagues..making my blogging easier and saving the extra effort of a separate newsletter.
